Selenium content of pumkin seeds
----------------------------------------------------
It probably depends not just on the food but as much on the soil content of
selenium. Keshan's disease in China, caused by a Coxsackie virus, only is
pathogenic to human hosts when there is a serious selenium
deficiency--which arises due to a depletion in the soil.
