To anyone who can help
?--------------------------------------

I need your help from who will be able to assist me in helping my brother.
My brother is 34 years old and has aids. He has gone through a spell of
TB and taken the medication for the last 7 or 8 months. Unfortunately he
has lost a lot of weight. ( 86kg to =/- 58kg ). My brother's family (GP) is not
very knowledgeable of my brother's situation and therefore does not seek
much assistance in rectifying the problem. I personally think that he has
already written my brother off. He never refers my brother to anyone
else for assistance, perhaps this is because he is to proud I do not know,
but I cannot stand and watch my brother die, I need to give him all the help
and support I have to offer.
The problem that he has at the moment is that he is retaining a lot of
water, so much so that he has to have a stomach drain every second
week. When he has the drain I believe that a lot of proteins are lost with
the drain. This is why I am of the opinion that it is very important that he
gets a diet specific to his needs. He also needs to regain weight.
Can you assist in helping us with a diet , or can you put us in contact with
someone who can give us a diet that will assist.
I really need your help.
Thank You very much
