Dear Dr. Isaacs and All,

Hello and many thanks for your posting and appreciation, which is a true
honor! I will be happy to send you other materials I have gathered on this
subject, if interested (more about our own program, and lots more about
others I have run across), as it is indeed vital that policymakers develop
guidelines on HIV/AIDS and nutrition. There are now a number of individuals and organizations working on this issue, both in the field (quite
literally!) and in terms of research and the development of
guidelines/manuals/reports, so there should be a good body of material to
draw on and present as relevant.

Our own Executive Director in Kenya, James Onyango, will be presenting a paper on our nutrition program at the upcoming ICASA conference in Nairobi in September, and hopefully there will be others at the event both
presenting and interested in networking and creating a "critical mass" of
support for these issues and approaches. Again, greatest thanks for your
interest, and please do contact me if there is further I can do to help, as
I will be delighted to do so! All best wishes, Janet Feldman, Director,
KAIPPG/International, kaippg@earthlink.net (if you would like to speak with KAIPPG/Kenya and James Onyango directly, please write to
kaippg@africaonline.co.ke )

Thanks. It is very important. We are in the process of developing guidelines for Policy Makers on HIV/AIDS and Nutrition and all the information we receive is important as we can use it as supportive information for decision-making.
