Two important quotes that I may forward to you.

1. The stand officially ttaken by ILO on the issue of
HIV/AIDS in the workplace ( and the society): no
discrimination allowed , for any component : recruitment,
treatment. insurance , pension, etc...

2. The modus operandi of the African Union vis a vis its
partner for pension and Life Insurance ALICO: years of
struggling has " soften" ALICO's case by case handling of
benefits /entitlements of families of staff living with /
ded from AIDS.
The issue is not settled completely yet , but only the
resistance of big institutional customers with heavy assets
in insurance companies can take the latter to consider the
reality : HIV/AIDS is not so heavily burdening insurance
schemes, and time has come to give solidarity / insurance
the fulness of its meanings.

More to come.
