We have been conducting a study amongst 18-72 months pre-school HIV+children
at Livingstone hospital,Eastern Cape during 2003 and I compared their WAZ,
HAZ and WHZ to CDC and WHO reference values - in the end decided to use the
WHO reference values. If you want more info please contact me

We are researchers specialising in HIV care and treatment. We are in
the process of planning a study to look at growth in children under 6yrs
infected with HIV. We are planning to use the new CDC growth charts as
a reference. Does anyone have any comments on this?
