Here is the information about the conference:

GNP+ Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS
DATE: JUNE 3rd, 2005
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SUBJECT:

LIVING2005: First deadline approaches for PLWHA conference in Peru.
LIVING2005: Scholarship deadline approaches.

GNP+, on behalf of the Living with HIV partnership, reminds interested
parties that the first deadline of the PLWHA conference LIVING2005 is
approaching in two weeks.

SCHOLARSHIPS:
Scholarships submissions send by post must be dated no later as June 17th,
2005.

Online scholarship submissions can be send until July 9th, 2005.

Please check the website www.vivir2005.org for more information on who is
eligible for scholarships.

ABSTRACTS:
The Conference Program Committee is calling for all those interested to
submit their abstracts.

The core conference will have three tracks:
1) Access
2) Home and Community Care
3) Stigma, Discrimination and Human Rights

Currently, cross-cutting themes identified include:
a) Leadership and Capacity Development
b) Positive Living and Empowerment
c) Gender and Sexuality

Please feel free to provide your input on which issues you or your
organization think should be covered.

Abstracts can only be submitted online at www.vivir2005.org. The deadline
for submitting abstracts is July 5th, 2005.

All plenary and oral presentations will be translated into English, French
and Spanish. A full roster of skills-building workshops will fill out the
daily schedule.

A two day PLWHA pre-conference, led by HIV+ leaders, will work to advance
the conference agenda while provide a platform for the global movement to
assess itself and step forward.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the conference has opened at www.vivir2005.org. The
deadline for registrations by mail is September 9th, 2005. Online
registering can be done until September 26th, 2005.

The registration fee has been set at 300 USD. Onsite registration will be
360 USD.
