Dear all.  A lot of people are taking Vitamins thinking it will cure
AIDS and the other day South Africa had a similar problem. Well in lew
of this and need for the training, centre for Nutrition Education and
Research is having a one day training on Micronutrients. Those

REF: INVITATION FOR 3rd CONTINUOUS NUTRITION EDUCATION

The 3rd CNE is coming up on the 6th of August and will be held at The
Nairobi Hospital, lecture theatre. The Topic for this CNE is
"Micro-nutrients, from food or supplements"

The objective of the training is to
.	Receive current information on Micro-nutrient issues especially
in relation to HIV/AIDS
.	Empower the nutritionist to be competent in educating the
public/patient on safe use of the micro-nutrient supplements, especially
the sick patients who have been mislead by non professionals on their
benefits. 
.	Educate the public on importance of using food as a basis for
good nutrition. People seem to be investing more on the micro-nutrient
supplements rather than food.

The charges are Kshs. 1500/= per professional and Kshs.1000/= for
students.
