This is an issue getting more attention recently. Even some governments

are recommending that all HIV+ mothers who choose to breastfeed express

and heat treat it during the process of transition away from breast
milk.

The following link goes to a site with an editorial entitled "HIV,
exclusive breastfeeding and weaning in sub-Saharan Africa: can flash-
heating breastmilk help bridge the gap?" (which can be downloaded in
pdf format) and a link to a video with Kiersten Israel-Ballard
demonstrating the method.

I've also added a link to the following UNAIDS website, which reviews a
number of papers on the topic "Mother-to-Child Transmission."
