[pronut-hiv] Food Consumption Survey

Dear all,

We are planning to conducting a National food
consumption survey, as a matter of a priority, this
year (2008), in Zambia. With minimal resources we
have, what would be the best approach in terms of
proportion of the population groups to be covered
(sample size of the different population groups)? I
would also wish to get some views on the best, but
cheaper approach of knowing the nutrient intake of the
different population groups? 

I would really love to share some experience if anyone
did conduct a food consumption survey in the recent
past.
