Dear forum members,
ProNut-HIV has just started its sixth year, five years have gone by
already.
It has been an enjoyable journey with you and we would like to thank
all of you for your interest and regular contribution to the forum. To
date, 985 subscribers from 45 countries are on ProNut-HIV, and over
2902contributions have been posted on ProNut-HIV.
You have turned this trial into a successful venture. We want to
express our sincere gratitude to you all. Surveys with our users revealed
that the forum is a particularly valuable channel for sharing
information and insights on a subject that is rapidly evolving and for
which practical experience is just beginning to emerge. For more
information on the evaluation go to:

The goal of ProNut-HIV is to promote proper nutrition and care for
PLWHA through positive living, by encouraging a constructive dialogue
between PLWHA, program planners, and policy makers. Over the years, we
have witnessed an increased participation of subscribers from each of
these groups in the forum. We are looking for partnership and
collaboration with institutions and organizations at all levels to help
achieve this goal.
ProNut-HIV is designed for you, our subscribers, and we are constantly
looking for ways to serve you better. We are planning to move to a
thematic approach to discussions. Each quarter, we will invite an expert
or a group of experts to discuss and answer your questions on a specific
topic.
Please send us your suggestions on the topics you are the most
interested in!
We would very much like our discussions to be conducted in
professional, respectful, constructive, and cordial manner. For our new
and longtime subscribers, we will soon be sending out our ProNut
discussion guidelines.
ProNut-HIV is a collaborative effort between the AED Center for
Nutrition and AED-SATELLIFE Center for Health Information and
Technology.
