  Dear Colleagues
   
  TALC wants to evaluate the use of their CD-ROM on Community Nutrition (for more info see end of this mail). To do this, TALC will send a CD and a one-page evaluation form to tutors of nutrition courses in developing countries. 10 copies of the CD will be sent to all those who fully complete and return the form.
   
  If you are a tutor, or know of any tutor, who can participate in the evaluation, please send the name, postal addresses and, if possible, email addresses to TALC.

  Details of the TALC/UNICEF CD-ROM on Community Nutrition  The CD was produced in 2006 with support from UNICEF, and is for health care providers, development professionals and trainers in resource-poor countries (particularly Africa) who have limited access to up-to-date nutrition reference materials.
   
  It contains several hundred up-to-date documents on foods, nutrients, nutrition in the life cycle, food security, malnutrition, nutrition and disease, nutrition education and communication, diagnostic tools and nutrition programming. These include manuals, training courses, academic papers, briefs, practical guidelines, pictures, PowerPoint presentations and a video. The materials were donated by national and international agencies, universities, non-governmental organisations and private individuals.
