Hi Tom,
We highly appreciate your concern about privacy. That is a sure plus! It's always good getting to know if guys are comfortable being asked questions of a personal nature. Thanks again.
All,
If it may help us, let me answer your questions as follows:
We FF our first baby because we were not sure if breastfeeding my baby whether exclusively or not was the safest thing to do. Many of our friends asked many questions but again my hubby took care of the questions.
We have been living positively for over 5 years now. Our baby was delivered under such circumstances. She was however put on the usual medical care for such. We look as healthy as anyone of you, if not better only that we know our status.
We both have good jobs whatever good may mean. What I am saying here is that we have enough to take care of ourselves. We also have a good medical cover for the whole family.
We know our CD4 counts. We have the tests done quarterly. My hubby is at 750 while I am at 550. We have not done the viral load.
I was on ART during my pregnancy only. So, to answer your question, we are not on ART.
So, there's no online nutritional advisory that we can go through? And yes, the ultimate choice is ours to make. That's so true.
May be I should point out that our baby has tested negative and this is quite exciting to all of us.
So, I am asking again, if there's online nutritional advisory we can make use of, please let us know.
Thanks everyone,
Happily Married Guys

Hi married guys,
For you to get the best nutritional advice, you have to provide more
info about your self & partner e.g.
1.Why did you FF the fist baby?
2.Your economic status. I.e. are both of you employed or only one of
you?
3.Do you know your viral load/CD4 Count?
4.Are you on ARTs?
5.For your health, you need to see a nutritionist/dietician to
assess your nutritional status to be able to give the best dietary
adviceÂÂÂ
Note// As much as a nutritionist/dietician will advice you on the
possible feeding options for your infant, the ultimate choice will be
yours.ÂÂÂ
Regards,
John

Hi everyone,
We are a married Kenyan couple with one baby. We never breastfed her.
She has been on formula milk since birth and we now want to ask you if
our second baby should also go the same route or we may do what is
called exclusive breastfeeding.
As for our health, we would appreciate if someone advised us on the best
diet in terms of nutrition. We want to hear it from the experts and we
believe we are in the right forum.
Thank you all in advance.
regards,
The Married Guys
