Hi Married Guys,

I am not a professional nutritionist but I have worked with people living
with HIV in Central Kenya. I think you need to visit a Comprehensive Care
Centre (CCC) where you can get answers to the questions you are raising. You will find a CCC in most government hospitals and there are some clinics in mission hospitals.

It is important to have a balanced diet. There are foods that are very
popular with people living with HIV in our area. Grain amaranth is widely
used, it has very high protein content.- the flour can make porridge,
chapati and Ugali but it needs to be mixed with other grains, you could also pop the grains and mix them with breakfast cereal, stinging nettle & Moringa vegetables are also popular. Try also to use honey in place of sugar, Pumpkins, melons, beetroot and most indegenous vegetables are good. Your first born child will also enjoy these foods.
I am not an expert in these things, so please visit a CCC and get all the
help you need.

Warmest regards.
